Privacy

Neon Loop is a browser-game site operated by Soft Voltage. This notice describes the launch version of the site and how advertising will be handled when it is enabled.

No account

You do not need an account, login, name, or email address to play.

Game data saved in your browser

Neon Loop uses browser local storage to remember game progress, settings, and statistics. If you choose a nickname and creature avatar for Yatzy or Backgammon, those are stored locally too.

This game data stays in that browser. Neon Loop does not upload it to a player account or cloud-save service. Clearing the site's stored data removes it, and Soft Voltage cannot recover it.

Advertising, cookies, and choices

Neon Loop does not currently load advertising or analytics. After the initial launch review, Neon Loop plans to use Google AdSense to help keep the games free.

When advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising technology providers may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, browser and device information, approximate location, requested pages, and ad interactions to deliver and measure ads, limit repeated ads, and prevent fraud. Third parties may place or read cookies, or use web beacons or IP addresses, as a result of ad serving.

Neon Loop will begin with contextual or non-personalized ads only. These ads may use the current page and general location, but Neon Loop does not give Google your locally saved game progress, nickname, avatar, or game statistics to select ads. Google states that non-personalized ads may still use cookies or similar identifiers for frequency limits and aggregated reporting.

Before non-essential Google advertising technology runs, visitors will be offered a clear choice. You may refuse advertising technology and continue playing. When ads are enabled, a persistent Privacy Choices control will let you change or withdraw that choice for future ad requests.

Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services and manage Google-wide personalization through Google Ads Settings.

Children's privacy

Neon Loop is a general-audience game site that may be used by younger players. It does not ask players for their age and does not use locally saved game data to profile them. Advertising will start with contextual or non-personalized treatment for everyone, and Neon Loop will not knowingly use children's personal information for behavioural advertising.

A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information through the contact address can email Soft Voltage to request its deletion.

Analytics

Neon Loop does not currently use an analytics service. Adding analytics would require a separate review and an update to this notice and the site's privacy choices.

Website delivery

Like most websites, Neon Loop's hosting provider may process basic technical request information, such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, and timestamps, to deliver and protect the site.

Processing outside Canada

Hosting, email, and advertising providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that location. Google controls its own advertising data under its published policies.

When you contact us

If you contact Soft Voltage about Neon Loop, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address and message. It is used to read and respond to your request. Messages are handled through Soft Voltage's email provider and may be kept as reasonably needed for support records or legal obligations. Soft Voltage does not sell your contact information.

Safeguards

Soft Voltage uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to the limited information it handles. No online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices

You can remove locally saved game data through your browser's site-data settings. When advertising is enabled, you will also be able to refuse advertising technology before it runs and change your choice later through the site's Privacy Choices control.
